Save a useful prompt once

The planned Prompt Library will let you save prompt text from a draft you choose to keep, place it in a prompt folder and insert it into a supported AI composer for review.

The feature is not part of the Chrome Web Store 0.3.1 release. The current landing page labels it as coming in 0.4.0.

Reuse prompts without cloud sync

Prompt Library is designed as local-first storage shared by ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini on the same browser. The planned workflow does not send prompt text to Knoveya, and you decide when to insert or send it.

Pro is planned to add prompt variables and templates after the 0.4.0 release is available.

What is available today

Folderloom 0.3.1 currently provides folders, bookmarks, drag and drop and local search across the supported AI sites. Install the current extension for that organization workflow and check the release notes when Prompt Library becomes available.

A prompt library is not conversation migration

Reusing a prompt means inserting text you deliberately saved, not copying your entire conversation into another provider. The planned library shares those saved prompts across supported AI sites in the same browser, while folders and chat references remain scoped to each AI workspace.

Local-first storage does not protect text after you choose to send it to an AI provider. Review sensitive details before sending and follow the provider's own data policies. Folderloom will not automatically submit the inserted prompt.

A workflow to prepare for 0.4.0

  1. Choose a prompt you have used successfully more than once. Remove confidential client details before turning it into a reusable template.
  2. Separate the stable instructions from the details that change each time, such as audience, tone and output format.
  3. When 0.4.0 is released, save the prompt in a clearly named prompt folder and insert it into the AI composer.
  4. Review the inserted text and fill in the changing details before sending. Planned Pro variables will support this step; the current Store release does not.
  5. Check the result on each provider and adjust the wording where needed. A shared prompt does not guarantee identical answers.
